"(06MAR2024) Large store with an excellent selection. Off-street parking and on a Frequent Service TriMet corridor. Friendly and knowledgeable crew. Directly on Burnside in the former Goodwill space."
"Wow!!! Finally, a place that has everything on the shelf. Customer service in the store was minimal, but on a Sunday, I don't expect much. Ask the people at the cashier station, and trust know the right dribk to pick for the right mood and party. Prices are spratic so some things are at a great price and some things are average. Despite that their shelves were full, cashiers had a positive attitude and were very helpful and very knowledgeable, which helped. Love the clean atmosphere and stocked aisles. Definitely will be shopping here again so long as they keep the prices right where they are on some items. It's great that it's close to the house."
"I just wanted to take a minute to thank the amazingg staff and manager of Sip City. I was driving with my daughter in the car on a Saturday night about a month ago and an uninsured driver t-boned me on Burnside, as they were turning into Sip City parking lot. The first person to rush out to help me was a gentleman with red hair. He helped push my car out of the street as it was leaking fluids and was too damaged to drive. Then they let me leave my car abandoned in their parking lot for an entire week because my insurance company took absolutely forever to get back to me so I eventually had to get my own tow. The manager was SO kind, he even provided me with video surveillance of the accident for my insurance and attorney. I am so grateful for everyone at Sip City for their kindness and generosity."
"I figured my first experience at Sip City, when they’d just opened, would also be my last. Working in the service industry, and having opened new retail locations, I understand that businesses go through growing pains, so I thought I’d give them another try this week. I am just as disappointed now as I was over a year ago. Customer service is non-existent and employees embody the “Portland Attitude.” No greeting, no smile back, confused look, and worthless if you have any questions. The store itself is clean and new. But a pretty, well-stocked store doesn’t make up for how uncomfortable I feel when I walk in. I am not surprised to learn that the business is family owned and the manager is the owner’s son. Profit is their priority, NOT customer service. I’ll gladly continue shopping at 10th Ave Liquor, where not only is my existence acknowledged, but appreciated."
