The tattoo I wanted to get done meant a lot to me, and It made me feel good knowing it meant a lot to her as well. From the consultation to the appointment, the process was seamless. "I had a very negative experience with Magdalena. Magdalena has a policy of not sharing designs in advance but says she will do extensive consultations in person and can make small tweaks. Upon seeing the design, I expressed a small change I might want and she immediately got very defensive, saying her design was exactly what I had sent her (it was close but slightly off from what I wanted). When I asked to see the stencil of the design on my body, she said it would be a waste of her time and implied that I had already wasted her time (mind you, this appointment was 4 minutes total from beginning to end). She ultimately sent me away, saying she would refund my deposit but doesn't tattoo people who are "unsure". Every previous tattoo I've had, it's been a two way conversation between me and the artist. Magdalena on the other hand creates an environment that makes it very clear she is not open to feedback or conversation about designs. Deeming me unsure about a tattoo because I asked questions was incredibly patronizing. With so many great tattoo artists out there, I would recommend going elsewhere."

"Magdalena is wonderful! She is very easy to Express ideas to and she can take a space on your body and use her imagination to draw something amazing. I have gotten a few pieces so far from her. She is working on a custom piece for me and I have taken advantage of some of her flash specials too! She is sweet and quick to respond which is so nice! Her space also allows for privacy and isn't wide open like most shops--which is especially nice when delicate areas are being tattooed. :) Highly recommend."
