"Had an appointment that I waited a month for. Was super excited to relax and get my nails done in my last week of pregnancy. Was on my way and was rear ended by another driver in the rain. Called and texted this business to inform them that I would not make it and to try and reschedule ASAP. I even emailed them when I got home. I thought the accident, filing a police report and calling my insurance was stressful enough for the day, so imagine my surprise when I check my email less than two and a half hours later and see that they charged my card for the full amount of the appointment. Last time I spoke with them they said to let them know if anything comes up last minute (like labor) and it would be no problem. Still have not heard back from them and need to find somewhere else to get an organic manicure. Disappointing that this is how they do business. Will be disputing the charge of course and not recommending this business."
"Thanks to Teresa for fitting me in when I was running late due to the crazy weather! I had an excellent first time at Opal. I got the Dazey manicure and even though we were under a bit of a time crunch, Teresa fit the whole service in and made me feel at ease. The place is very clean and I appreciate the emphasis on low-tox products and services. I also love the bathroom and what the business seems to stand for overall. I can’t wait to go back and rebook another Dazey with Teresa!"
"Favorite nail experience by far! Kayla did some incredible botanical art on my nails, was open to my art inspiration and ready with creative suggestions. I appreciated her kindness, conversation, the explanations of products (and commitment to chemically free materials), and the time, energy and skill she gave to me.I felt very taken care of.
