Tool & Truck Rental Center at The Home Depot

"Okay, usually I tend to write excellent reviews, unless my experience was really bad. We went to Home Depot rental in Federal Way in the afternoon. A very big and very fat guy was there, it is totally a jerk, no education or manners whatsoever, his level of comprehension is minimal, we had to call the manager to resolve the issue. I do not understand why people like this are in customer service. Obviously he hates his job."

"Rented a carpet cleaner. Everything from beginning to end was perfect. Reserved everything on line, went to pick it up. The gentleman gave excellent customer service a d I was in and out. EVERY rental I have done has been perfect with them."

"They need to improve their rental process, long line of people waiting while some employees stood around chatting with eachother, only one guy working the rentals. I understand the rentals may require some training, but you could at least have employees helping out in other ways (e.g. taking peoples order while in line, ringing them up and printing the contract, etc.) While the rental specialist demonstrates how to use the equipment, helps load it and answers any questions."

"Always an exciting store to visit and they have everything I need when I go. They have some older employees working in certain departments that are very helpful and knowledgeable about their department. Love their website and that you can have items not in store shipped there for free. I also like the fact that they offer tool rental. Highly recommend."

"Apparently if you ask someone if they still thread pipe here they rudely tell you they don't. Then clown #1 tells the other employee that they have one. I asked where and clown #1 says in plumbing. He cannot make eye contact with me and will only look at the the other person I asked. I go to plumbing and look around. Can't find one. I ask the low rent santa (clown #2) in plumbing if they have one and clown #2 rudely tells me they don't. I said another employee said they did. He then points to the shelves indignantly and tells me to look around then. I told him I was just stating that someone said they did. Clown #2 proceeds to get angry and tell me that they don't have one and he can't control what clown #1 says. Every time I unfortunately go to this location I deal with situations like this. I would suggest you shop anywhere else unless your shopping preference includes rude and unhelpful staff. 0/10 Will not shop here. Lowe's is right across the street where the employees in fact are not rude to you."
