"Had a terrible experience at this place. The lady who cut my hair was rude, and in a hurry. Imagine what kind of a haircut you will get in around 6-8 mins. Not visiting here again."
"Terrible experience. I am a black person with curly hair. I went here and an asian male barber with a thick accent informed me that they don't cut "my" kind of hair, and told me to look elsewhere. I have reached out to other people who have experienced similar things at this location, and can corroborate this. I will never go to any Great Clips again."
"Had a pretty awful haircut here from a male barber. It took him about 5 minutes which started to ring alarm bells. Then I find bits sticking out all over the place. Probably the worst value haircut I’ve ever had. I wish I’d crossed the street and gone somewhere else."
"I’ve been a customer for over 2 decades. You form friendships and trust with your hair stylist. My hair stylist left and took my chances with another individual. The individual was hard to understand (English not his 1st language). I was called racist because I told him I couldn’t understand what he was saying and got asked to leave. They have new people at the Mercer St location and I encountered some hostile attitudes."
