"Kent’s Garden &Nursery in Bellingham, Wa My husband and I recently approached Kent’s Garden and Nursery to design and install a dry rock Zen garden on our backyard 16x32 ft. property. Customer relationship is very important to Kent’s. From the beginning to the completion, we found the staff knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and professional. Designer Aundrea met with us to establish our Zen garden concept. Shortly thereafter she returned with a design plan that met and exceeded our original idea. Issac, the landscaper, also met with us before the installation to get a feel for our Zen concept. Both Aundrea and Isaac guided us with their abundant knowledge of specific plants and rocks that would enhance our meditative garden. Especially impressive is the pea gravel “river” that winds around the large smooth rocks, the moss, the grass plants and the miniature Japanese maple. One last note. Isaac gave us the estimated cost of our Zen garden endeavor before beginning the installation. Isaac also wrote up a detailed watering and care plan for us. "Huge nursery with really helpful employees. Their selections of decorative grasses and hydrangeas were especially impressive. Lots of native plants and trees, roses, shrubs, shade and sun plants, ground cover, and lots more. We were just looking for a few things to put in pots on a small deck and came home with Spanish lavender, Russian sage, geranium, sea oats, and papyrus! There was so much more that we wanted for the yard! We'll be back again for sure!"

"I went to Kent’s and was quickly greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable gentleman named Isaac. He spent at least an hour walking me through the gardens helping me pick exactly what I needed. He answered my questions with patience and makes sure i had the info I needed as a beginning gardener. He even packed up my car for me. This will definitely be a go to place for me."
