Reviews
"Honestly download the app for Safeway to get deals. There are many that instantly get added when you are checking out with a Safeway number. Typically check to see what is available via the aisle location on the app as well. Definitely has lots of stuff typically in stock but occasionally some items are not present."
"I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for a grocery store, but Elizabeth was so helpful I just had to write one to mention how great my experience was. She was a professional cashier who went above and beyond to help me out, with a sense of customer service that is incredibly rare these days. She’s a gem and deserves a promotion!"
"The good: 1. Close to space needle 2. Nice bakery section 3. Reasonable variety of items 4. Decent prices (as compared to metropolitan market) 5. Handicap accessible The bad: 1. The people. Some of the most inconsiderate people shop here. They leave items that require refrigeration on non-refrigerated shelves seemingly everywhere and all of the time (do they not care about waste or the employees?), instead of just placing the item back where it goes. They bring their large dogs in, allowing them to bark and snarl on the regular, all while majorly getting in the way. Many people who shop here also are fine, but those who trash the store up are high on my list of reasons to dislike the location. 2. I bought blue cheese at this location last week and the cheese was expired by 3 months? Genuinely have no idea how this managed to happen, it's almost amusing. 3. The produce is often beginning to decay. I don't know anything about how grocery stores maintain their fresh items, but this location seems to have difficulty with it. 4. I bought a parfait here last month and one portion of it tasted exactly like mold... yeesh."
"Hire more cashiers. There are literally 20-25 people waiting for 2 cashiers at 4:45pm. Then there is another line of 15 people waiting for self check out. Why are you doing this, especially during the holidays? Why are you, as upper management, putting your employees through this rough experience. Glad you’re saving money for your bottom line"
"Super nice people, good prices, clean store. The pharmacist got us in right away when Bartells lost our appointments and could not have cared less. There was a person passed out in the parking garage and a gentleman shoplifting lunch in the store, but that’s just Seattle."
