"In the past McClendon's were very helpful. What I don't like is hardware store's windows screen policy. They don't offer the service to come and measure the windows so you can get a custom fit. Now I have spent over $300 and I have screens that don't fit and of course since it is my fault and they don't have a return or money back policy, I'm stuck with screens I can't use. In this economy I cannot afford to put out anymore money for screens."

"They always have what I'm looking for, and plants are consistently successful for me. The staff member's have always, ALWAYS, been helpful and courteous. They refurbished the check out area and made some improvements, it looks really nice. My only small gripe is the asphalt out front shopping area has seen some wear and tear, and it's rough when pushing your cart through. Tolerable, but it would be a big improvement if they smoothed that over a little bit. I still love this place, I would highly recommend shopping here."

"Huh? I don't get the guy who complained about getting fertilizer etc. They used to have a display of the bags with numbers on them, that was helpful. But if I'm not sure and want to check the prices etc., I drive around and take a look, then go inside and tell them what I want, pay for it and drive back and there's someone to help me load it in my car. Convenient and easy! Plant selection is better than it used to be also! Though getting used to the new arrangement inside will take some getting used to!"
