"Many years ago, I'm talking 15 years ago, I went to this convenience store. I was about 15 years old. Due to my own mistake, I didn't realize they didn't take EBT. I didn't know this until I went to pay. ALL I had was one fountain soda $1.19. The worker told me my total, took my food stamp card, and then proceeded to tell me they don't take food stamps and he would only give me my card back if I called the police. I was a teenager and I was afraid I had broken the law by filling up my soda so I just left. 15 years later and this haunts me that the worker knew I was poor and that I wasn't going to do anything about it so he stole my food stamps. And I just let it happen. So if they're still doing this, ITS AGAINST THE LAW THEY CANNOT KEEP YOUR PROPERTY. Don't be an intimidated teenager like me. *Rant over*"
