"When you are the only game in town, you don’t have to be good. Pricing is standard 25% surcharge to avoid driving to The Dalles."
"This place claims to be a hardware store in a wind town that's completely dependent on wind sports...... this place doesn't carry a single metric screw in stainless..."
"I recently bought a kitchen from tumalum and every bit of the experience was fantastic! I received 1:1 help from Chris, a high quality kitchen, for a really decent price. Thanks guys!"
"Always a great experience, with friendly customer service (even when we showed up two minutes prior to closing for paint). Just the right size - outside of things like tile, they have everything you need, but it’s not overwhelming like a big box store."
"Spotty staff. I don't review badly often but my treatment this summer deserves mentioning. A couple bad apples go out of there way to be unhelpful. Today I beleive but can not prove the girl made my paint the wrong color because I was demanding. She definitely made a huge deal of me writing the wrong date on a check, earlier date. She won the snarky salesperson award when she said have a great day and did not mean it, after I pointed out that an early wrong date is no big deal. I prefer to shop elsewhere. I've been in and forgotten the word for a part and the sales man I call the frat boy acted like I was the dumbest person ever. Then he proceeded to to be very unhelpful. My advice if you don't have to get something in a pinch, shop elsewhere."
