"Lame. I tried to order a large floor pad from them -at least a two or $300 purchase- they couldn’t have been bothered to be even remotely interested in getting my information or trying to help me, though by their own admission they stock what I was attempting to purchase. If they couldn’t handle something as simple as this, why would I entrust them with anything of substance?"
"A great place to shop, refreshing to be able to work with a local business with fair pricing and great service. Justin was so helpful, answered all our questions. After trying the Big Box stores, it was so nice to get such great service locally! We purchased 1500 square feet of luxury vinyl plank flooring. Our installers did a wonderful job...they were perfectionists...including pulling up the trim boards and reinstalling them. They also moved some of our larger furniture. We will use Tuppers for our future flooring needs."
"WARNING: Tuppers is under "new management." Do not make the mistake of thinking past work and reviews apply to the current management. While building a house and working with many contractors in the area Tuppers has been the worst and the only one we've had problems with. Billing and installation mistakes have happened, that's normal with new construction, but Tuppers is the only company that treated me rudely or said I was wrong when trying to fix the mistakes. Paid ~$10k for tile and wood floor install. We paused work to finish drywall in a stairway and my husband asked when it needed to be ready by. The installer said no rush just call us when you're ready. At this point everything was fine, there were a couple mistakes, but nothing unusual. Then they started sending us invoices. The invoices include work they never did like $70 for removing and reinstalling a toilet. My husband did that work and the toilet was still sitting uninstalled when this bill arrived. I called Tuppers about this and spoke to Mike who said they'll figure it out and take care of it (he was very polite about everything). My husband attempted to schedule the follow up work and got no response. He followed up a month later and finally got a "we're working on it" response but no date. Then we got a bill with a late payment finance charge. I called and was given to Bruce who opens with "you people have been stringing us along" among other rude and condescending things. He said that he doesn't need to finish the work they're contractually obligated to finish until we pay and that the finance charges are legitimate. Our contract clearly states 70% up front, which we paid, and the rest upon completion. The invoice clearly states to contact them if there are any issues which we did. First they say it's fine and the bill will be fixed, then they charge financing and say we're wrong and have to pay now. Then we discover Bruce is the owner. If the owner can't maintain a polite interaction with customers he should hire someone else to be on the phone. And I don't understand how he thinks it's legitimate to charge the final balance and finance on a construction job that is still unfinished when the contract clearly states the remaining 30% is due on completion. Not to mention the invoice is still wrong regardless of the absurd notion that I would give them final payment, or any additional payment, for an unfinished contract. ------------------------- UPDATE: Tuppers continues to refuse to finish this job. They have admitted some charges on the invoice were false. However, they still want to charge for work they never did. We are now in the position that Tuppers refuses to finish the job until we will "agree" about an invoice that isn't due to be paid and that they already admit had several errors. They sent creepy pictures of our personal belongings, not even including the flooring they did, attempting to justify moving charges. Pictures taken of things on top of finished flooring that were moved back after the job was done. Problem is the pictures even show my moving tools under appliances that they claim they had to move. They really just can't accept that their worker didn't move anything. They continue to say they "reserve the right to refuse service" so I clearly ask them if they are refusing service but they dance around it. I helped them out and just told them it's clear they are refusing service and have defaulted on the contract. Still open to discussing everything via E-mail so we can all have a written record. They hate the idea of things being in writing. They've tried to claim they called repeatedly but had issues and even stopped by but we wouldn't answer. Same story as the other 1 star review on here where they claim someone's voicemail was full. They tried so hard to get in touch with us but never thought to write an E-mail which is how all communication had been occurring. They hate communicating in writing because then they can't claim your voicemail was full when you call them on their poor communication/work/scheduling."
"Sales rep extremely helpful, courteous. Really cared about my needs to complete a project. As the role of vinyl was a bit heavy, he carried it out to my car!Extremely pleasant transaction."
"It was a headache and a half dealing with this company. I wouldn't buy anything here. They couldn't even give us an installation date but sure wanted our $$. We ended up having to contest them through our credit card company. Thankful we succeeded but be warned! We had a great experience with another company. Make sure to check out the reviews about them on Houzz. Yelp reviews are old...with past owners."
