Reviews
"My wife is the torch worker. I was just accompanying. Mike Frantz clearly knows his product, which is art glass, and the community around it, and he is clearly a natural salesman. He could sell a bicycle to a fish, and the fish would enjoy the conversation so much that it wouldn't mind that it has no use for the bicycle. He can also genuinely be helpful in supplying the needs of a glass artist. Let's just say that the location of the store is not selected to capture the attention of passersbies. You have to make a special effort to go there, and should have a clear idea of what you are going there for."
"I only buy off their web site, but this is a wonderful company. Great glass choices, and very helpful."
"Excellent selection and prices. Mike Frantz is a really great guy. This place is quite remote. You have to decide if it's worth the trouble to drive all the way out there or buy online."
"We couldn't be happier with the level of customer service and the ease of ordering from Frantz. Quick email responses, knowledgeable people to call when you have questions, and our recent order came perfectly, (30 plus pounds of dozens of different colors, nothing missing, nothing broken.) We are very happy to call them our supplier of color and supplies for both torch and furnace working."
"If you have the chance to stop in at the store, do it! I'm new to lamp working and had a ton of questions. I felt like I should have paid just for the information I got! I felt like I was in flame working 101. I was amazed by the huge selection of glass and was very happy to find the discount bin, which I feel is great to experiment with colors and getting the feel of working with glass, without buying the more expensive rods, not yet knowing how to use them. This place is great! Keep up the good work guys!"
