"I hardly ever write reviews but the interaction I had with Paul and Wendall was quite astonishing. I had no fan to blow my heat around in my car (Lexus GS350 AWD) and I have to tote around my kids. As it is winter time, the windows fog up and it's really cold without heat. I had no choice but to replace the blower fan. The cost was out of my price range but I thought if I can make some changes I could pay for it so I gave them the thumbs up to move forward with the work. The part itself was close to $500 and then you have labor costs, shop fees, etc. While reviewing my bank account, I saw an auto payment for a bill had gone through and I indeed did not have the money for the work needed. I immediately spoke to Paul about my situation and canceled the work. Well, Paul went and told Wendall to cancel the parts order and the job. Wendall came in and asked me why I was canceling. I told him I couldn't afford the work. Wendall asked me, "well what can you afford?" After this we discussed my financial situation and came to a price that allowed our family to have heat in my car for the winter. In all my years (I'm now 58), I have never had the experience of compassion from an auto repair shop until now. For this reason alone, I would highly recommend coming to Pep Boys of Woodinville for your auto needs."
"I can't speak to the service but received a call cancelling my appointment for headlight restoration. I've been having issues with light brightness so thought I'd restore the headlight and figure out if that's the issues before getting new headlights casings. After explaining that, I was told to just take it back to the dealership service........ I guess I was surprised considering this was a listed service on their website. So I was left confused and also without service. :("
"Everyone who works here is the absolute homie. On new years day I got a flat and they were able to have me in and out in 30 minutes. Then the next week, I got another flat, unrepairable, and again they were able to take me same day. I had a coupon for free tire installation after the first visit, which was super handy. I love them all. They are the best."
