"Shockingly rude guy. I don't say this frivolously: I question whether he really should be in business. He's never been the warmest person in the world. But now, he seems to particularly enjoy insulting people, especially women. The last time I came in here, he repaired the strap so badly, it fell apart again the next day. Literally shooed me out of his shop, when I came back to have it redone."

"I have some boots I love that the heel broke off, and I tried to reglue it back on but it was off-kilter and unsafe to walk with. I went here hoping to get them resoled, but the shop owner refused to even take a look, saying they were fine and they looked straight. I put them on and showed him how they wobbled and he told me “thats just what happens when you wear high heels” and I tried to explain that I wear heels a lot and this was a unique issue. He refused to listen to me, was rude and dismissive, said it was really strong and I should just wear them, so I left, wearing the boots still. Before I even got to my car the heel broke off. Will be finding another cobbler to fix this and won’t try here again"

I bought these both for a few bucks each thrifting, they had gorgeous leather uppers but needed some repair. The shop owner was so kind, knowledgeable, and quick! He even polished them up for me. I think it’s important to invest in trades that take so much patience and skill so it was worth $60 for me to have 2 new pairs of summer shoes. I will definitely return again!"
