"Got a U.S. General tool box over the weekend that didn't have a key. I tried to get a key made at Home Depot, Lowe's and Ace Hardware, but none of them would do it cause they only copy keys. While at Ace Hardware, an older gentleman who worked there recommended I try Kitsap Key & Bike Shop. I took the lock to Kitsap Key & Bike Shop, and after they tried to match up a key blank to the tumbler, they decided that it would be better to just modify and attach the bracket from the original lock to a new lock. They called me later the same day telling me it was ready, but I picked it up the next day. When I picked up my lock, something about the way the bracket on the new lock just didn't look right. I decided to ignore it since I'm pretty picky on details, so I paid the $22 for the service and headed off. Curiosity got the better of me and I wanted to see what I paid for, so I took it apart. What I found was the original bracket butchered to the point that it could break at any moment, making it so I'd have to drill out the lock and replace it again anyway, or call a locksmith. I went back and told them that it was unacceptable, and they tried to tell me that what they had done was pretty normal. Spending a little more time and paying attention to detail would have given way better results. I'm giving them 2 stars cause at least they gave me my money back. First and last time going to this place."
