"This is a real, authentic Alberta Street sink to pee in. Make sure you try all of the salsas so you can delight yourself with an array of fragrances while you urinate in this very accommodating and sink-pee-friendly basin. And like all the best Portland sinks it comes adorned with ZENKO’s signature."
"My group and I happened to be staying in the neighborhood this weekend with the snowstorm. Most places were closed and this place was open so we decided to check it out. Service was outstanding, food was delicious, and their salsas (definitely homemade) were bomb! I we got the pastor, breakfast, tinga, and fajita burritos! So flavorful and servings were big, and the prices were reasonable! Highly recommend this spot!!!"
"The best steak burrito and green sauce i've ever had!!! I'm pretty sure it weighs as much as my truck...."
"This place was dingy, dirty, wiped the table myself, there is no service, just a guy to take your order, you will return to ask for condiments or sauce, won't be offered, food is bland and sub-par. There is a fair selection, price is good, but it's alighned with a fast food restaurant feel, slightly above quality. This place was recommended by a co-worker, and I'd never listen to him again. I see he has no class. It was hot, no AC, and appeared to be struggling in every way. I've had food carts better. I'm an honest critic. Sorry! If you like stringy over chewy beef and rubbery chicken. And Flys circling you, Enjoy."
"La Sirenita > La Bonita Well, what happened was my friend and I wanted some Mexican food. We missed breakfast and worked through lunch. We were starving. We found two Mexican restaurants nearly right next to each other and began to read the reviews. It appeared that there were maybe fake negative reviews going on so we decided we would go to BOTH on the same day and compare for ourselves. Both places you order & pay at the register. You retrieve your food once it is ready and bus your own table. This is something I have found in many places in both Portland and Seattle. Frankly, I think it it is a disservice to your customers. The food — La Sirenita was clearly the better of the two Mexican restaurants. Honestly I didn’t even finish my meal at the other one and would not go back again. The staff at La Sirenita were better in all of the ways. The man working at La Sirenita knew we were not local and began to automatically sell his menu. Telling us the top sellers and what he likes. He cared about our order. He made a suggestion three times about our chimichanga and we took him up on adding the fajita veggies which was the best move ever — it elevated the entire meal. He was kind and nice. They really have a closer relationship to their customers here. We sat and ate our meal as soooo many customers arrived for pick up orders. He knew almost everyone that walked in and had a little chat with them all Thanks for the amazing food!! Will be back next time I am in the area."
