"We used Specialty Rents for our wedding and were very satisfied with the rentals and the service. After getting little to no responses from other rental companies, Specialty Rents was a breath of fresh air. They were prompt in communication, made sure we had everything we needed, and were upfront about cost. We had a little hiccup with the pick up of the rentals, but it all got sorted out quickly with no issue. I would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding/elopement on the coast!"

"When i noticed the tent being assembled in the wrong direction, I asked them to stop and turn the 40’x60’ tent the other direction. At this time only the upper roof was assembled, no sides or jacks were in place. I was told to call the office and would have to pay for time to move. I called and they were 30 minutes into erection. The upper framework was assembled and nothing else. We volunteered to help lift the sections and turn the tent 180*. The nice lady in the office called the field crew and asked if it could be turned that the clients would help move it, and the person in charge told her if he had to move it, it would go back into the truck. Needing it for a wedding in 2 days, I walked away seeing the client with all he had been working so hard on was getting stressed by the installed at Specialty Rental. As the crew was leaving, I told the lead person to not return and to send another crew. He was rude and arrogant. When I told the lead person to not come back, his attitude was, he would just take the tent back down. HE DIDNT HAVE TIME to turn the tent while it was partially assembled, but all the sudden, had time to take it back down. Arrogant, rude, not able to listen to the customer. He decided where the tent would be assembled and argued where it would fit. I would suggest to anyone who has what they want done to stand over this person and NOT let them convince anyone that their way was the only way. He was angry and combative upon arrival, because I wouldn’t let him back 20’ through the grass to get that closer,. Three years ago, we had the same tent rented and they erectors were great. Don’t know what happened but this guy was the absolute rudest person ever. Beware of this company and the tent erector supervisor and his threats to ruin your event just to appease his bulling!!!! Did the tent work, yes, but this review is for anyone that has an exact spot and design to make sure that Specialty Rentals comes to the site prior to election and approves your layout so there are no surprises when everyone is already stressed out with planning. A simple, we are sorry and we will not let this happen to anyone else, is all that’s needed."
