"We came late after 9pm one Saturday night without reservation. Parking was easy and the restaurant was pretty empty. We were four of us and ordered food at the ordering window. All food came very quickly. Ghin salad was nice and crunchy. Mala aloo was very different- a little soggy because of the oil underneath but I think that was the intention and it was flavorful nonetheless. The Mix fry plate was really good with each of us having our favorites. The entrees were disappointing though. The tofu nway and 1/2 chicken entrees were both very mediocre. We did enjoy the space and the music playing- very tropical feeling to it."
"Wow. My first Burmese dining experience was a delightful introduction to comfort food that was both familiar and accessible, while at the same time being new and interesting. The menu isn't huge, but has a nice variety of noodles, dumplings, curry and fried chicken to choose from. On our visit, they were out of the single, large dumpling that stands out on the menu. Happily, a flat bread with yellow peas special made a delightful replacement. They offer a small number of beers, enough to find something that fits your tastes, and, in our experience, well matched to the food. It is an order at the counter / take a number to your table dining experience, with servers that do a terrific job of delivering everything hot from the kitchen. It is not a huge space - I'd estimate somewhere between 8 and 10 tables, in a casual, somewhat rustically designed room."
"My date and I picked this spot and we had a nice dinner! He got the squash salad, which was phenomenal! I need to learn how to make it myself, so delicious. I got a noodle soup and while the flavors were exquisite, the noodles were soft and gummy, suggesting that they may have been overcooked. The dish was also over salted, which I had a hard time with, but the Burmese iced tea helped with that. I'm planning on coming back to try out some other yummies from the menu!"
"Amazing food and incredible hospitality! You won’t find flavors like these anywhere else. Highly recommend the fried chicken, steamed ribs, chickpea tofu, and tea leaf salad. Every dish is cooked with LOVE! My pictures don’t do justice."
"Extremely delicious food in a nice setting with good indoor and outdoor seating. The beef salad had great texture and flavor with just enough spicy kick to contrast. I couldn’t get enough of the pork noodles, excellent flavor profile with the smooth sauce and fresh ground pepper, ample amounts of pork meatballs and pork belly! Fried chicken was succulent, lightly coated, and delicious sauce combining spicy and sweet. Overall one of the best spots I’ve been to in the last few months and I’ll be returning soon to try out more dishes!"
