"I came in today for two services, an issue with a clicking sound when I open my passengers door and intermediate beeping after turning the car off and removing the key. I was quoted $200, the service tech did not communicate that he evaluated my car and tell me if he knew what the cause was for either issues and what it would take to fix them- (despite the door being a common issue) nor was informed it would be $200 prior to me arriving (or at the scheduling of the appointment via phone). He qouted me for two diagnostics despite the door being a clear mechanical issue and not a computerized one. He told me it would take several hours AT LEAST despite me having an appointment. I left briefly to the parking lot and after further consideration I decided this was suspicious amount of time and seemed like a price gauge. I called to speak with a supervisor who I was told was not available and there were no other supervisors to speak with until MONDAY. I inquired about the cost and returned to the services building to cancel my appointment as $200 seemed excessive. When I entered the building they already had my keys ready before I even said a word and stated that my mom called and cancelled my appointment. Not only was this not true- I was the only one who called ( I clearly stated this) and I hadn't even cancelled my appt over the phone- but why would my mom be able to call and cancel MY appt over the phone when this is MY car under MY name completely registered to me and being paid for by me. I don't know if they were trying to mock me because I am young or insinuate that I was being advised by someone else that they were price gauging- but this was disrespectful and unprofessional. Not to mention, shows how quick they were to try to get me out of there building after I found out they were trying to rip me off. They offered no further explanation or even apology. Terrible service. Furthermore, I was advised by an actual mechanic who I know personally who stated that $200 was excessive. TWO diagnostics including one that didn't even require a computer to evaluate, no evaluation or any idea of what the issue was communicated to me prior to stating my estimate was $200 or that it would take several hours to complete, no supervisor available and unprofessional all around. I do not appreciate being treated as naive because I am young and do not recommend anyone go to this institution for services- they will try to rip you off and I am sure they would've come back to me and claimed there was a million other things wrong with my car considering they apparently needed TWO diagnostics. If this is the service chevrolet wants to provide, then I am glad to take my business else where and will never purchase another chevrolet again to avoid their unprofessionalism. I will not do business with people who will gladly rob me, waste my gas and time, and then be quick to kick me out of the door when I inquire about their cost. I am so grateful I made the decision to leave as I would be incredibly uncomfortable having them work on my car. They give a bad name to mechanics. Edit: typing error corrected"
"I brought my vehicle in for one problem that took 4 months to fix. When I picked the vehicle up, I had more problems than I brought it in. One headlight is out, my amps don't work, the radio doesn't work, I have mold growing in the vehicle, and now they tell me I need a timing chain. Nothing was wrong with any of these things when I brought it in to be fixed. Worse experience ever. Would not recommend this dealer to anyone."

"Updated: SERVICE DEPT CUSTOMER: had a fast customer service response and I felt like they understood where I was coming from. Prices are expensive for used cars. Would only go here for warranty work. Prices are typical for the area. I personally had a very bad experience with my service representative. I feel like he did not communicate properly. I called originally for my shifter. If you look in my reviews. I've been dealing with this shifter for a while now. I attempted to rewire a wire I pulled from the relay that connects to my shifter. I'm not a Chevy certified mechanic. So when I made this mistake, I was terrified to try to fix it. I figured I would wait until I could afford to get it looked at and fixed. I made the appointment over a week ago and was waiting in anticipation for my shifter to finally be fixed. Brought it in today, 10/16 at 1030 AM. I explained the shifter problem and asked for it to get done and also asked for them to diagnose the sound coming from the front drivers side. I get a call at 2 p.m., and the service representative says, "Our technicians diagnosed the shifter as the problem." I was confused and asked for clarification. " The technician is saying the wires are sticky, and he is recommending a full shifter replacement." People... I promise you I accidentally pulled the wire, and I do not know where it goes back into in the many slots that wires fit. I even found the wiring diagram but I struggle to make sense of it. It's not a shifter problem. It probably is sticky. To be fair I am not denying that. Plus I will say my car was gross. I have recently moved full time to my partners vehicle. I didn't realize how nasty the interior was until I drove it today. So I asked what took so long if I made an appointment at 1030, and he said he diagnosed the front left sound as a bearing. Then, of course, they only replaced the full set. I tell him I will just come in and grab my car. I hung up frustrated. Called back and asked for an oil change. Those I do typically do myself because I don't mess them up, but I the fact that I spent over 60 dollars in ride share and nothing was done in the car frustrated me. The service rep did waive the diagnostic fee. Which is nice but again confusing, considering I told him what was wrong with the vehicle. But that might be a toxic practice of Chevy and not their fault. So I ride back and wait to get my car. My representative room my payment and the amount I paid was cheaper than the amount he said on the phone. I'm not sure why. Makes me feel uncomfortable and gives me the feeling like he makes some commission off of us. But I have no idea. Anyway, after waiting in line, he couldn't locate my keys. After several hours, they lost track of them, I guess. He had to call someone to ask where my keys were, just to find out they were left unattended in my vehicle. I'm not sure as to why my keys were left unattended because they also did an ignition recall. So my rep hands me the quotes and receipt for my oil change. I walked to my car, and the door was left slightly ajar. Once again, I'm confused as to why. My car was set to neutral with the parking brake on. You can not place the car in the park without pressing the button under the console if the wiring is off. I would expect a "certified service technician." To know that. Don't bring your vehicle here if it's used and older than five years. It seems the service department is optimal at mantaning warranty and recalls but can not properly diagnose and work a problem because "it's too sticky." To make it a bit worse, I asked if a more senior technician could take a look, and he said that the technician is the "Master Service Technition." To me, it seems like they are more concerned with replacing parts as to fixing problems. If the wires were "too sticky" for you to attempt to trouble shoot than they would be "too sticky" for you to replace the shifter. Doesn't make sense to me. Seems to me the "master service technician" is refusing to read wiring diagrams."
