"The procedure I had was back in Dec '23, had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted w/o issue. I was loopy of course but the staff was understanding. Highly recommend though, they're professional and thorough."
"Dr Turella and his staff are awesome. Dr explained both my procedures with care and scenarios of complications and remedies. I felt very well cared for. I'm so glad he's practicing in this area and I didn't have to travel very far for care."
"I took my son to Dr. Turella for a consult to have a baby tooth pulled. After checking in a lady came to take an x-ray (scan). I let her know that my son just had a panoramic x-ray and he did not need another one. The lady insisted that we have an x-ray (scan). After meeting with Dr. Turella we were presented a projected cost. The only out of pocket cost was for the cone beam x-ray (scan) . This x-ray (scan) was billed at $475. I became upset for not being advised of the cost and Darienlyn at the front desk looked at my like she could not understand why I would be upset about a surprise $475 x-ray (scan) . Darienlyn spoke to Dr. Turella and Dr. Turella said they would not charge us for the x-ray (scan). She proceeded to apology saying that they normally advise their patients of the cost of a cone beam x-ray (scan) . I found out later that insurance will almost never cover a cone beam x-ray (scan). As a result of this experience I hesitated in scheduling because I felt unsure that if this is how Dr. Turella ran his office that it would be a safe place. Yesterday I decided to go ahead and make the appointment. I called their office and was informed that they could not schedule that day but that they would call me today. I did not receive a call by 1 PM so I called and Kailey informed me that they were scheduling out until August 2024. Kailey said that this was because my son would be receiving anesthesia and that they have only one anesthesiologist come once a month. Dr. Turella knows the tooth needs immediate removal due to another tooth coming in very badly. I honestly thought they were just trying to delay me so I would go elsewhere so I decided to ask questions about the CT x-ray (scan) to see if that situation was related. I asked Kailey who in their office normally advises their patients of the cost of CT x-ray (scan) she informed me that it is Dr. Turella. I asked her how could Dr. Turella advise patients of the cost if patients don’t see him until after the x-ray (scan) is taken. Kailey stuttered and really could not answer the question so I then asked if it is typical for their office to take the CT x-ray (scan) and then present the cost of the x-ray (scan) later and Kailey said yes this is how they manage this process. Kailey went on to say that it is a decision that Dr. Turella makes before the consultation and that it is based on whether the nerves need to be visualized. The day I got upset I was told that Dr. Turella needed to know whether to remove the tooth letter H from the front or from the top. I honestly didn’t understand that. Also, the day we got the CT x-ray (scan) I called 5 offices in Seattle and every single office advised me that they always get the consent of their patients before charging for a cone beam x-ray (scan) . The average cost in Seattle for a cone beam x-ray (scan) is around $400. I am sad to become aware of how poorly Dr. Turella is running his office."
"My son just had all 4 wisdom teeth removed without being asleep during the surgery. This clinic made him feel comfortable and treated him with such gentleness and kindness. They explained in detail what his recovery process would need and what to expect. They exceeded my expectations and then some. My son even got a little card from them less than 48 hrs later. By far the best oral surgeon i have ever experienced! 10/10 for sure !"
"10/10 recommend, when I went in for my initial consultation all of the staff were very welcoming and sweet, Dr. Turella was very informative on the whole procedure, what to expect, how they planned to Ext both of my bottom wisdom teeth, with keeping in mind I was very nervous beings I had never been put to sleep before. At the end of my consult I was sent home with medicine given from the office to help me relax before my procedure, the ladies in the front brought me back and explained everything they did while prepping me for the IV, they had a numbing spray used on my arm that helped so much (I have a fear of needles) I couldn’t even feel the IV being placed, my wake up was so smooth and the staff were so helpful escorting me out afterwards. They also called later that evening to check on me, we were able to laugh about some of the things I had said while falling asleep, very comfortable and clean clinic, staff are very personable. Thankful for such a great experience after being nervous!"
