"I started with Laurel Dental Clinic in 2018 and was so happy they were taking on new patients. I had to wait 6 months for an appointment and the hygienist was okay. The dentist (guy) was super friendly and nice to talk with but he was very rough. I had 1 crown and other dental work and whenever he worked with me it took me 3 -5 days to heal. He left and when to Hawaii. I was not sad. All of the hygienist insisted on using this hypersonic cleaning which gave me great pain. I thought it was because I was getting old and less tolerant of pain. Full transparency I have periodontitis and require 4 cleanings a year, but these were painful and took me a full 48 hours to recover. They never offered and said I shouldn't have the scaling method of cleaning. I wish they were willing. The replacement for the 'guy' dentist was a gal and I thought oh she would be much more gentle. Truth...she was more gentle with her precedures but her bedside manner is very, very abrasive and made be feel like 2 cents. I left and went to another dentist. I no longer require 3-5 days to heal after a dental treatment."
