So it wasn’t as busy as it could have been but the server seemed more than capable of handling anything that came through the door. The Aztec salad, cider flights and full drink selection was excellent. The fish and chips and the burger were good but not outstanding. "The Tavern and Pool McMenamins location is a great spot for delicious food (pizza), drinks, and bar games. I highly recommend the Hammerhead BBQ pizza, the Tropical Storm pizza, the Omnivore pizza, and the Margherita pizza. And definitely order some Cajun tots! There are 3 pool tables and 2 shuffle board games, and also a nice fireplace to warm up. And of course, they have a stocked bar with all the local beers, cidars, and spirits."

"McMenamins has one of my favorite bar food menus. The Cajun tots are a MUST! Everything else I’ve eaten here is also very good. I’m usually pretty pleased with the beer selection. Service has been hit or miss but I keep coming back because the food and atmosphere makes up for it. Really fun to have so many pool tables available and a few TVs to watch games."
