"Doing work in the area and had a local resident recommend. Pulling into parking lot, wasn't sure if in the correct location or not. Saloon enterance is left of store enterance. Neat utilization of logging rigging and tools as door handles. Very interesting mix of historical and modern decor from the arra. Food was unexpectedly good for a hole in the wall in the middle of the woods. Be patient as the staff runs the Saloon, store and kitchen, so they stay busy."

"We have Elk hunted in this area for over 50 years. Yes we’re old. But this place has been a hot place for a roadside bar. We go there to watch the football games on the weekend. Staff is always there to help. Owners have put their heart and soul into this place. Great stop."
