"This place was a pleasant surprise. We were in a rush and planned to get something quick in the food court. Had a couple of samples here, and they were delicious! Got a 2 chicken entree plate with the potato and cabbage salads. Also had a mango and sweet Lassi. Everything we had was awesome, and the customer service was wonderful. You can tell the people who made the food take great pride in it, as they should. We will definitely be coming back!"
"I've seen many reviews, and like a lot of places, they vary quite a bit, so I can only speak of my experience. I am a fan of Indian cuisine and have had the best from all over. I am going to rate Bombay Wala as a mall food provider only. And with that, the food was very good. From a flavor standpoint, it was better than some of the offerings in the food court. The owner was very generous and gave out samples. I actually ordered too much food and ended up in a food coma soon after. Butter chicken, rice, saaki, and Lassi were all very good. Portions were generous, and I felt it was a good value when compared to the other shops in the court. Oh, and the potato salad was to die for."
"This place didn't meet my expectation. The person at the order counter was forcing to taste the curry. It might be work for some in ordering but I personally felt overwhelmed since I didn't notice what other options were there in chicken apart from what he gave for sample. Food was super cold like cooked early morning cos we ate around 2. Saffron rice was more like yellow food colored rice & not any arome of saffron. Gravies tasted good in sample but the chicken in the box was hard & dry. Chicken masala was neither tasty & chicken cooked full. Hope they work a little more on the flavours & actually served authentic taste & cooked right rather than getting ppl to eat samples."
"literally the best Indian food ever. Their samosas are huge, cooked to order, packed with flavor and come with 3 different dipping sauces for only $8. The buttered chicken was so flavorful and tender i could die for it. Not to mention how big the portions are for such a good price, the guy told me i could have one more serving of another dish for the same price. This is my new favorite spot in washington square, im surprised the line wasn’t longer. super underrated and deserves more hype."
"This was my first time having Indian food. I have to say that giving samples was not only a way of tasting the food. But the biggest plus was hearing how knowledgeable they are about the food. It was delicious. I tried the butter chicken, and it was delicious, just the right amount of spices. I have to recommend anyone who is ready for a new adventure of deliciousness. Go and try it now. I don't think you will be disappointed"
