Great selection, authentic food, did I also say ice cream as well. My favorite local spot. Because they are the friendlest and kindest people you could ever meet. Thank you!"

"Me and my mom have been wanting to try this place out for a while and we finally made it. Steven greeted us warmly and was extremely kind and funny. It’s only take out and it takes 20-30 minutes for preparation, so call ahead because it’s made to order. The samosas with mint chutney were quite good, we had the chicken masala curry, it was good. I think the highlight was seeing Steven. BTW they cater, but have limited menu, with many vegetarian options."

"The best Indian food around Portland. I'm from the south and I love spicy food that has flavor and a lot of Indian food places have spice but it's not flavorful just very spicy. But that's not the case for masala box, it has excellent flavor for the spiciest level. Great proportions for a great price. I will definitely eat here again, not only is the food amazing but the customer service is great not only do they care about making great food they care about great service."

"Vegan channa said potatoes, vegetables. Looks like a can of garbanzo beans in red sauce. Chicken masala said potatoes, peas. Two chicken thighs with one chunk of potato in red sauce. Samosas only decent part of the meal. Really disappointed. This place used to be good."

"Glad to find this gem! Have been craving chicken masala and was delightful to find a place close by in downtown Gladstone with authentic options. We got the chicken masala curry which was very traditionally prepared, and the chicken diced masala that had a thicker sauce and a more savory/spicy flavor. Both were excellent but I preferred the diced option. Steven was so patient in helping us navigate the menu, made us feel very welcome, and was kind enough to pose for a pic. Along with ice cream and milkshakes, they sell another Gladstone local’s sweet treats: Laurie’s “crack” corn — yum!! We love to support local business and will definitely be going back for more here soon :)"
