Koko Masala's Kitchen (Monthly Pop-Up)

"This is an absolute hidden gem supper club! Was introduced to Koko Masala’s Kitchen by a friend who swore by Chef Kokila’s magical cooking. Kokila is a home cook who showcases Southern Indian food through memories of her grandmothers cooking in the Malenadu region. Guests who are lucky enough to snag a reservation to this monthly pop-up can expect authentic Indian food that tastes like nothing else offered here in Portland—the flavors are truly unique and out of this world delicious. Think spiced chilled yogurt soups, cashew marinated chicken (cooked in a real clay tandoor oven in their backyard!), and fruit pudding desserts made with nuts and Indian biscuits. Format is simple: $79 for a pre fixe 4-course dinner (BYOB). The pop-up location in previous months was downtown, but now they are hosted in the beautiful house of Kokila and her wife in NE Portland, who along with their gracious staff welcome you into their home like family. The setting is intimate with 10 seats max, so you really get to know the fellow diners through conversation and shared stories. If you’re thinking about booking a reservation, just do it now!!"
