"I was able to have dinner with friends on NYE, and it was just spectacular. The staff is warm, the Owner was kind enough to say hello to the table, and we had a great time. We ordered quite a bit of food, including the Omakase (pictured), and we were absolutely impressed with the freshness of the fish, and the quality of the cuts. A couple of non-nigiri stand outs included the delicious shrimp shumai and one of the chef's appetizers, that had several fishes, avocado, and more all in one tasty bite, and the Aburi tower is a can't miss.. We had some great toro, scallop carpaccio, uni, I could go on. If you are in the market and want some really fresh and tasty food in a non-touristy environment, this is the place."
"Very good food, good service, the ambiance feels a little cheap, you would win with a more premium entrance/front. We had a problem when we wanted to pay by cash, we are traveling from europe and wanted to pay by cash, but the staff didn't accept that because they said the machine didn't work but they didn't warned us when we entered the restaurant, so we had to pay by credit card and got more taxes than with cash.... It wasted our expérience at the end..."
"The service was very warm, but the food was served too slowly, waited for almost an hour. I had to wait 15 minutes for a glass of water. We ordered the Nigiri box. No special surprises, very ordinary Japanese food, plus tip totaled $164.05, I think it is particularly not worth it."
"I spent last week in Seattle on a business trip and dined out most nights. Aburiya Bento House was by far the best dining experience in my time there. Their sashimi was amazing - perfectly prepared, tasty, and beautifully presented. Even the side miso and salad were amazing, and the sake tasting flight was the perfect accompaniment for the meal. Service was genuine and friendly while still being professional and attentive. The servers gave info of each type of fish on the sashimi tasting plate. Honestly, I could not fault this place. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in town."
