"Walked in at midday on a Saturday as the only customer. The only employee there seemed surprised that I wanted to sit and eat lunch. I grabbed a menu off the bar to find it sticky and covered with dried soy sauce. I grabbed the next menu down the bar from me to find that it was covered in ants as well as dried soy sauce. I told the employee behind the counter about the situation and left. I was in and out in less than 2 minutes and won't be back, I recommend you stay clear as well."

"First thing to note, it’s not really a dine in establishment. Bar seating only with tiny chairs and very cramped. The whole place is small and we listened to the 3 staff talk the whole time because they were so loud. Sushi was good, but it was a 40 minute wait and we were the only folks there. We watched probably 5 people come pick up to-go orders while we waited for 4 rolls. Finally was served our food and they made one of the rolls wrong. Gluten free options were great, but everything is in one fryer so expect cross contamination and avoid if you have celiac. Based on the ridiculous wait time despite being the only people there, I wouldn’t recommend coming here."

"Momiji Sushi is a great Portland sushi joint. I feel the sushi is always fresh. The service is always fast and curtious. The place is small, but I have always found a seat at the bar, or we order ahead for takeout. My kid loves their food. Nice atmosphere and a good place to take the family, not too pricey."
