"We were loyal customers of Kamei when they were in W.Seattle & when we heard they'd moved to Tacoma, we made the trek to their new location & were delighted that its still the BEST ever! Not only is their food & menu fantastic, generous portions & reasonably priced, but the family who owns it are so warm, friendly & hard working. I have nothing but love & respect for them. Even though it's no longer close to us, we still plan on driving out to eat their delicious food & supporting them. Highly, highly recommend!"

"This place is absolutely amazing and the prices are fair. I ordered the Heart Attack Appetizer, Hot Boy Roll, and Spicy Tuna Roll. My total was a mere $37 which is more than affordable compared to other Sushi restaurants. The fact that I can walk here makes it super convienent for me whenever I am needing a Sushi fix. I only wish I took photos of the food because the presentation was on POINT. The girl working the counter is extremely attentive and just a kind person overall. The decor is beautiful with Lantern Lamps scattered across the ceiling and Purple LED lights everywhere. (My favorite color is purple so this is a plus) I cannot wait to tell my friends and family about this place because the food is THAT delicious. Cheers!!"

"Awesome place, neat deco, family-owned, great food, warm service, beautiful atmosphere. Great veggie rolls, many choices. The dish to have is Kamei Pizza! The name is different, but that is an awesome dish I'll order again for sure!"

"Delicious spot in Parkland off pac ave! This restaurant recently moved down from West Seattle and is a great new addition to Tacoma. Highly recommended coming here and giving them a try - it’s a locally POC owned business with fresh ingredients and a clean space. We had the edamame and miso soup as appetizers and then shared a veggie/tofu bento box and veggie yakisoba. My only note is that it would be wonderful if they used sustainable packaging for their takeout, paper boxes and bags are best…but even recyclable materials would be better than the styrofoam and plastic they are currently giving out to customers."
