Saigon House Vietnamese Cuisine

"Update: portions have significantly decreased since my last review when I posted the photos. They also ignored my request to please include hot sauce, and utensils. Chili oil was not included this time. What I got today was not worth almost 20 bucks for one dish. Also the taste was quite bland, not as goodas it used to be. The spiciness level was also definitely not 3. I was still hungry after finishing the pad sew and I dont even eat a lot. Cheaper and better thai/viet places exist just a little more south, quite a disappointment today from where used to be one of my fav places. My new fav eat out place in Tacoma! Thai and Vietnamese food are my favorite foods, and this place sells both! and to my surprise, both cuisines taste good. They also have a nice website with menu with photos and descriptions which is a huge plus for me because I am usually onthe go and have to order ahead of time and pick up to go. They also have a instagram page to see updates on different foods. I dont know why Ive never seen this place before, but I discovered it while picking up coffee at starbucks so I ordered pho, and it was so good that I came back the next day two days in a row, to try the pad sew. My only complaint is that I wish the portions were a little bigger esp for the price, but both were really good and I will definitely come again to try their other dishes. Even their chili oil was really good, relatively more flavorful lol. You cant buy happiness with money but you can buy good food!"

"Phở here is fantastic. Broth is nice and clear and full of beef bone flavor. Definitely worth a try as well as other dishes they offer. They even have a happy hour which makes it even better."

"Saigon House is a beautiful restaurant; it has a good selection of food on the menu. My lady and I ordered shrimp and pork crepe, pork chop combo, and fresh spring rolls. Plus, we ordered a couple of soft drinks. The food tastes pretty good, but here are reasons for the four stars: there was barely any meat on the crepe, mainly bean sprouts. And the server forgot my fresh spring rolls. Other than that, this restaurant has great people and fantastic food."

"I stumbled upon this place during break and decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is inviting and the feel is warm. I ordered the Tom Yum with chicken and the vegetable spring rolls. The tom yum was tasty and came out boiling in a stone bowl and the spring rolls were crispy and fresh. I love the decor here and that the storefront is all windows which gives it a good amount of natural light. Overall my experience was very nice and I will be back in the future."
