"Fresh, flavorful, fun. Easily one of the best places to eat in Kingston. My favorite was the falafel. I’ve eaten a lot of falafel and it’s one of the better ones in Puget Sound. The lamb gyro was equally delicious, and that’s saying something considering I’m not a fan of lamb. The quality of the ingredients and skilled cooking really came through in these two dishes. The varenyky was also a hit. I thoroughly enjoyed the beef and onion, but the wild mushroom and potato is the one I’ll be ordering over and over again. That mushroom flavor is just something else. The grain bowl was surprisingly addicting. That green sauce. I don’t know what it is but I could drink it. You could pour it over subpar food and it would be good. But you don’t need to because the grains are cooked perfectly and is topped with the right balance of flavors and textures. The kimchi waffle fries were fine. Not for me but I can see people enjoying them. The borshch and accompanying pampushky were good. My experience with borshch is admittedly limited, but I did prefer this to other versions I’ve had. The salad was a salad. Hard to compete when you’ve got gyros and varenyky on the menu. But it does make a pleasant side dish. Would definitely order it again, particularly if I were to order soup, varenyky, or the grain bowl. The chocolate sauerkraut cake had nice chocolate flavor, but the texture was not for me. The flavor reminded me of the Costco all-American chocolate cake—fudgy and decadent—but unfortunately the texture was more like a Texas sheet cake—dense and a bit dry. I couldn’t be more happy to have this addition to the area. Looking forward to the seasonal changes and specials."
"Stopped by over the weekend and wow! We ordered the Kimchi Waffle fries (more like stuffed waffles vs a traditional fry which I was pleasantly surprised by), Varenyky Ukraining dumplings (both mushroom and beef versions), Grain bowl, and Falafel gyro. Everything was delicious and I would order it all again but I especially loved the kimchi waffles and Varenyky beef dumplings. If I lived nearby this would definitely be a weekly staple but I look forward to visiting Kingston again for another outstanding meal!"
"The waffle fries were so good I ordered a second helping for later! The Lamb Gyro was perfect, I plan to make this a regular stop for food! Wonderful ingredients, friendly staff! 5 out of 5 stars"
"I had the pleasure of visiting the newly opened Iggy's Food Truck in Kingston, and it's a culinary gem! This isn't just any food truck; it's an extension of the much-loved Iggy's Alive and Cultured food producers. You can taste the high quality and love in every bite, especially in their falafel gyro. The house-made flatbread and smoked-beet baba ghanoush are standout elements, coupled with the fresh tzatziki and local greens - it's a flavor masterpiece. The team's effort in bringing this food truck to life is evident, and I can't recommend it enough. Make sure to stop by from Thursday to Sunday, 12-6 PM for an unforgettable meal!"
