"First time eating here and it reminded me of being back home in Hawaii. You know the food is going to be good when everything looks old and the workers are talking in their own language. So much food from the lunch special, I stay full still. Will be coming back again for their chow mein!!"

"Looking for a spot open late after getting off the ferry and had the pleasure of stumbling upon Joy Luck. The service was wonderful, it was very reasonably priced, the food was fresh and delicious (and very clearly homemade!). 10/10. Even better, it’s very apparent that the staff loves and respects each other- they shared a meal together just after closing which warmed my heart. Overall, it tasted good and felt good to be there. Will definitely visit again."

"Great food and flavor! We decided to give this place a try above others. The food is delicious and fresh. Lots of options and made quickly. The general Tso chicken was so good. The veggie rice noodles were cooked perfectly. We got the pu pu platter appetizer and it was all great except for the cheese wontons. The wrappers they use are very thick and not good at all. Besides that it was all A+."

"Thebomb.com. Absolutely phenomenal and everything I look for in a Mandarin style restaurant. I felt like a kid again having my first bite of something something wasn't meatloaf or spaghetti. And even though I've had thousands of noodle dishes over the years this was what I've been looking for the whole time. We got the House Chow Mein and the Singapore Noods. The Chow Mein has beef, chicken, and shrimp. No stupid vegetables to ruin my entire day. Maybe some cabbage or something but nothing intrusive. The Singapore Noods were flavorful with massive chunks of chicken. Mildly spicy and stuffed with capsicum. No one's perfect. I don't live anywhere near Kingston but will make trips here to eat."
