The Stonehouse Cafe

"My friend and I were looking for different places to have our Wednesday coffee, and discovered this little gem of a cafe located in a local historical landmark. It's a cute little place with added seating in what looks like it could be an outside patio in better weather. Looks right over lake Washington too. The food was delicious! And far too much. My friend really enjoyed her biscuits and gravy. My scramble was just the sort of comfort food I was looking for. The pic looks like there was not much of it, but it was piled high and I could not finish it. I would highly recommend this place, but I don't want a bunch of y'all showing up and making it hard for me to get in. ;)"

"I guess I can’t really read this place. It was a little weird from the time that you walk in you walk up and you just order your food you take it to the table that you choose I guess it’s really nice but it was totally something that was different than what I was expecting. It would’ve been nice if we would’ve had like a waiter seat us. It’s just a small restaurant you order your food at the counter you grab your food and you go sit down I’m definitely gonna have to go try this again. The food I got wasn’t all that it was a little bland but I did see some food that was coming out that looked a lot better than what I had ordered so I definitely have to go back and try it again."

"The free haunted house at Laina's was fun to walk through. Love all the festive Halloween decor and seating areas. A great place to meet with friends and family. If only their food and coffee were on par. We ordered Cobb salad with dressing/bacon on the side, country fried steak and BYOB Burger with coffee. The best thing were the french fries. Sadly the worst was the Doppio. Undrinkable is being nice. Soo bitter and burnt. Ruined my taste buds. For it being a Cafe, expected much better. Overall come for the cheerful staff and location, maybe get the ice cream and light fare, and suggest going somewhere else for food."

"The place has a great atmosphere to hang out. I ordered the chicken and waffles with ube syrup and was presented with what tasted like reheated chicken - no crisp and thin chicken. For the price, flavor, and size it's not worth it. I recommend trying something else, I feel like there's potential here!"
