KettleFish Silverdale

"I am so glad kettlefish is back. It’s nice to have a convenient fish and chips option, but I appreciate the staff even more. I ordered for pick up and was given a time that was faster than I expected, but I figured I could squeeze a quick errand in. After waiting in two lines at UPS, and having UPS try to price gouge me by quoting nearly 300 dollars to overnight a 1lb small package, or 80 dollars for standard ground I was frustrated and now late to pick up my food. When I got to Kettlefish, the staff offered to recook my food so it wouldn’t be soggy. I declined because it was my fault not theirs. They then offered to lower the price because of the food, which I tried to decline and they wouldn’t take no for an answer. They use Square for paying so it wouldn’t let me give them a tip between the two systems, and I felt terrible. After having a rough afternoon up to that point their kindness was much appreciated. They told me to tip them next time, and I promise you, I will. That kind of kindness has ensured I will be a return customer and thank you for turning my day around Kettlefish staff. By the way, the fish wasn’t soggy, and the chowder was still amazing."

"Our first time checking this restaurant out. Everything was delicious! The cod fillet was very tasty and that in-house tarter sauce was the bomb! The coleslaw (made in-house) was one of the most favorable I've eaten in sometime. Wish they had more indoor seating but the outside seating was just fine. Definitely would recommend eating here!"

"First time trying Kettlefish, and we had the crab mac n cheese and the clam strips. The mac n cheese was a little soupy for my liking, but overall, it still tasted good! The clam strips were pretty good, but I would have liked it more if the fries were a little more seasoned."

"Second visit to Kettlefish. I like the cod & chips. Everything is fresh and hot. Not greasy. Cornmeal-type batter. Tartar sauce is especially good. One piece was plenty for me, but with a bigger appetite, two would have been great."

"Wow! Had cod and chips. Would definitely recommend it. Perfectly battered. The tarter sauce was full of flavor and not overpowered by horseradish. We ordered a cup of clam chowder as well. It somehow came out at the perfect temperature and we didn’t have to add ice cubes or spend 15 minutes blowing on it to cool down. We are from Phoenix, so fresh seafood is a must when we travel to any coast. Definitely give this place a try. You won’t regret it!"
