Sool Korean Kitchen

"Went for a casual weekend lunch with the family to try out this new Korean business. I saw many of the yummy pictures posted and had to give it a try. The business is in the old kokonut grill location in JM Plaza. The food was delicious. We went around noon on a Saturday, and it wasn't too packed yet. We we're greeted right away and seated. At first, we we're unsure if you ordered at the counter or if it was done with a server. It was the latter, that the very nice gentleman warmly greeted us. A few in our party don't eat seafood but we love the savory pancakes he immediately said the could make one without seafood and said it that variation was called "pajeon". I was very happy they were willing to accommodate our needs. Our orders came out not too long later, and we all enjoyed our dishes. We will be back again. Can't wait for the official grand opening."

"Even though it’s still the soft opening, the atmosphere is so nice and cozy, and the service is great. I really enjoyed the spicy chicken soup and side dishes, especially the kimchi and radish kimchi which were amazing. It's impressive that they make all the sides in-house! I’d strongly recommend Sool to my friends and can’t wait for the grand opening. The food portions are generous and price is reasonable! It was totally worth it to drive from Portland :)"

"My husband and I went to Sool Korean Kitchen for dinner this evening and it was absolutely amazing. We definitely over-ordered for two people, but it’s hard to decide what to choose with a menu where everything sounds delicious. Tonight we had the Japchae, Tteok Bboki, Blue Crab Ramen, and La Galbi (plus the 7 sides). I wish I took pictures before we started eating, but we were hungry - at least I got some towards the start of the meal. La Galbi was tender and delicious. Tteok Bboki was sweet and spicy with a heat that builds the more you eat (loved it). Everything was packed with flavor and served in generous portions. Aside from the food, the atmosphere was welcoming, the service was great, and everyone we encountered was friendly. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu!"
