"Surprisingly SO GOOD!!! We were skeptical coming here based on poor reviews…. But we are very much impressed. Also just found out that they hired a new chef which is probably why things have improved. We ordered the weeping willow cocktail which was delish. The jambalaya & buffalo cauliflower wings were incredible. We will be back!!! YUM! :)"

"We had our first kid free date night in 3 months and decided to finally check in on the gem. We always pass it and saw a coupon in the payback book and decided why not try it out We walked in and were welcomed instantly. We sat ourselves in the bar area. Very comfortable chairs and a warm and friendly atmosphere. Within 5 min we had water and were greeted with menus and were offered drinks. The only downside is they have Pepsi. Seriously, coke is so much better. The menu is full of amazing sounding food. I decided on the burnt ends and my husband got the craw fish jambalaya. The food came within 15 min I think. It was very fast. I took one bite of the melt in your mouth burnt ends and did a little happy dance. You know that dance that spontaneously occurs when you're eating something THAT Good? Yea that happened. the same thing happened to my husband with his meal. The curly fries were fresh and perfectly seasoned. When my husband got his drink I saw they had Sonic ice, so I asked for a cup of it and they happily obliged. Just serve that with your water and soda. It's so much better than regular ice. Even though I was full, I wanted desert. The lemoncello cake. It was so light and fluffy with the perfect amount of lemon. We will definitely be back to this little hidden gem in Vancouver."

"The FOOD! Oh my goodness it was so good! We ordered the pork belly burnt ends, Double Barrel burger with fries, and Creole linguine with fries. We enjoy a good meal and this delivered. Along with that, our server Kat made amazing suggestions (like get the ‘Bama white bbq vinegary sauce if you want to elevate your fry experience). This place will be a regular spot for us when we want to go out, especially on Mondays for Happy Hour!"

"Kinda sad we couldn’t give a better review. This place is so close to us and we were really hoping to love it and make it a regular spot. This was our 3rd try here. Same experience all 3 times. You seat yourself and then just kinda wait for a while until someone notices you. No one greets you or acknowledges you until your server shows up. Servers have been nice all 3 times but it’s hard to get their attention if you have a question or need something. The drinks are good but very expensive. The food is just ok. My husband ordered the jambalaya. First off it’s $27 for a bowl of rice, chicken and sausage. Kinda crazy. But what made it worse is that it came out cold. I ordered the pulled pork. It was ok, but also cold and a bit dry. Sweet flavor to it that I didn’t love. When we came here tonight it was to try it ONE more time because we really wanted to like it. When we left my husband said he didn’t want to come back. Too bad I had high hopes!"
