"Depending on what bartender you get you can have a really good experience or a terrible one. Two of the bartenders are extremely rude and can't handle when it's busy. Customers are literally scared to ask for anything because they will get snapped at. You should never feel like you can't ask for napkins. It's bad. They need to replace the two that are mean to customers. They are obvious which ones. The food is amazing for bar food. And the atmosphere is great, the girl that puts on the Hawaiian music is the sweetest!"

"Anchor Bar is simply a fun bar to visit. The staff are all very friendly and quick to get your orders taken and in, especially considering how busy they typically are. The food is delicious. I highly recommend the nachos, fried pickles, cheese curds, and the chicken wings. I love that they have video poker to play as well. Win or lose, you'll have fun."

"Great food and service! Happy hour is everyday and runs till 6pm. We spent $40 for our meals and that included 2 beers and 2 margariras! This place is hidden in the back but well worth a try if you're in the area."

"I hesitate to even comment about this hidden gem. I don't want the crowds to converge... Somehow, there was a table available the moment we walked in. The service was prompt and friendly, and 4 adults ate until we couldn't move and had significant leftovers for $56, and everything was delicious! We had the huge nachos, which consists of a whole bag of chips, 2 lbs of ground beef, an entire bag of shredded cheese, a can of salsa, a can of jalapeños, 6 Oz of sour cream, and a whole tomato. One can only assume the goal is to lose money, because the ingredients alone are worth more than we paid. The chef's salad is bigger than the one I made for Thanksgiving, and a bowl of clam chowder is basically a whole batch from a typical recipe. The chicken quesadillas contain a whole breast, and let me say, it's delicious! I may never eat again. Everyone had a soda or beer and we still stayed under $60? Come on! If management finds out about it, the staff will be canned & prices doubled. (It will still be a deal, though.)"
