Paul's Restaurant

"Yall! Mary took care of me here! I like to go to local diners in all the cities I visit and Paul’s is by far at the top of my list. I love French toast and I know it’s not hard to mess it up, but so many places do. I leave the diner saying “I could take or leave it”. Not this place! I would literally fly into PDX just to come back here and slam the French toast and hash browns. I was so impressed. It’s a cute little diner with a great menu and amazing food/service. If you’re thinking about it, just commit!"

"Always pass by this place and have been curious. It’s like stepping into a world that existed decades ago but still felt homey. You can tell that this place has regulars and are well taken care of. Anything on menu is served all day. We went for breakfast although I had a BLT. The potato salad was not homemade which was slightly disappointing. The biscuits and gravy was well portioned for the price but it was lacking. Our waitress sat us, took our order and delivered the food but then left. Had to flag down another waitress for a to go box and stood up at the cashier to pay. Overall curiosity is satisfied and it’s nice to see local places that have a regular clientele. Give it a shot and see what you think"

"Great service with typical diner food. Large menu with reasonable prices. My French toast wasn’t very good but the scramble was tasty. Veggie omelette was good. Coffee was okay."
