"Food is always good, glad they are open all year round now under new ownership. We always get chowder, popcorn shrimp, clam strips and fish and chips. Counter people are nice, it's always clean and lots of outdoor seating that has some heaters(some indoor seating but we like outside space better)."

"Couldn't resist to try this place. Every time I drive by there is a line. My son came to visit me and on our way to deception pass we decided to stop and give it a whirl! I ordered the jumbo shrimp dinner and he ordered the cod fish and chips dinner! I would definitely recommend it. It was deep-fried and homemade beer batter and very yummy, a little pricey but I feel like it was definitely worth the splurge."

"Had the fish and chips special of the day. Very good and nice high quality halibut. Fries were well cooked and flavorful. Thought the price was a bit spendy but they do have other options from both land and sea as the menu puts it. Lots of choices of food and will definitely be back to try other items. The seating is all outdoor which would be nicer if they had an indoor option but it is covered and with heaters. I would suggest they do something better with the trash cans as they're just open next to all the seating. Its a bit like going to your "uncle's back yard bbq " as far as seating area but i guess thats what makes this an area icon with everyone in the region knowing about The Shrimp Shack."
