"Beautiful little restaurant pumping out some delicious brunch food!! Laidback environment & excellent customer service. The food was fresh, fantastic & came in generous portions. I had oatmeal cooked in Chai & my fiancé had the granola with yogurt & fruit. What a great way to start the day!!"

"Enjoyed eating breakfast here with my mom. The server was so very nice and fun to be around. She was all by herself and so busy! Food options were standard but sufficient. Decor left something to be desired, very little color on walls-could use some artwork but maybe that’s coming by. The music was calming for brunch and unobtrusive so we could enjoy talking. Fruit added color to the plate. Coffee piping hot and delicious. My food was a bit cold-wish the plates had been prewarmed. Not sure I’d return but I didn’t regret my decision to go there. I have a feeling based on the chatter that lunch and dinner would be the shining stars. Seems to be some interesting choices on the menu for those meals!"

"Located downtown and off the Main Street (commercial), it’s a great location to check other places out before or after your meal. Love the outdoor seating option, which we took advantage of. The server was great. Funny and caring of our time. Only downside is that she was the only server that day. But she handled it well and it turned out alright. Food was good and tasted fresh. It may have sat in the back a little too long waiting for it to be brought out, but still good. It’s a great place to go that showcases downtown Anacortes. It’s definitely worth a visit. A nice place to relax and enjoy good food!"

"Local and mostly organic, I think. Have eaten at this place knowing that the chef is a woman who owned a restaurant a year ago down the street and just wanted to move to another location. I remember she leaned toward local, organic, and vegetarian, yet the menu does not seem that way anymore. Service was a bit skimpy, and never got the chance to ask."

"What a find The Nest is! The food is ‘oh my god’ delicious and beautifully presented. Such reasonable prices, too. Kim is a treasure, so welcoming and accommodating. The restaurant is nice inside and thoughtfully set up. We could enjoy watching the kitchen activity. Almost like 13 coins, back in the day. State of the art set up! The home made chocolate oatmeal cookies were to die for, we added two to go. Not to mention the cheesecake!!! Yum. Looking forward to trying out breakfast! Lovely music and sound system."
