"I finally tried Bob's Chowder House in Anacortes and regret not doing so sooner! The clam chowder is fantastic, loaded with razor clams and bacon. Halibut and chips portions are generous, although the halibut was a tad dry. Still, the flavor was excellent."

"The food was great, and at a very fair price for a seafood joint. Service had very nice and friendly people helping out. All seemed to be in a good mood, albeit a little rushed. Good to know they can handle a little pressure. I thought the chowder was better than Moe's down in Oregon if you're looking for a comparison. Something cleaner about it. Fresher, perhaps? I only tasted my family's chodwers, i got the 2 piece fish and chips. Pleasant. My sister in law upgraded to the halibut fish and chips, and it is worth it. Cleaner taste, too. It didn't seem like it'd been frozen."
