"The McKinley Rose Garden is a nice little excursion for a family with small children or a nice start to a date when in full spring bloom. On the day that my wife and I visited the Garden, it was in full bloom, but some of the roses were already on the decline with summer on the approach. The garden gives a nice zen vibe if you are into spiritual things of that nature, and there is plenty of space to pop a squat in the grassy area or provided benches to meditate. Overall, you can see all there is to see of the garden in about 5 minutes or less if you speed through it, or you can take your time and enjoy each variation of rose the garden has to offer. I recommend that if you are in the East Sacramento area, you stop by for a look and smell of the roses that the McKinley Rose Garden has to offer."
