"Blackbird park is a cute park off Hovnanian and natomas central. There is a beautiful grassy area for soccer or volleyball pick up games. A baseball field with up graded fencing. A big covered patio with tables and benches and a barbecue. There are two dog parks, one for large dogs, one for small dogs. And the Blackbird common garden is spectacular."
"Good playground! One area for bigger kids and one for smaller kids. There are also shaded areas, a water fountain, and a lot of grass to run in. Right next to a dog park but some people have told me to be careful of owners not picking up after their pets (I haven’t had an issue but I was also just visiting the city for a few weeks)"
"Love this park - they have stuff for the big kids and the littles. Tons of grass to play around in, too. And the dog park is always fun to watch!"
"It makes no sense to water a dog park between 8 and 9 in the morning. It is impossible to have dogs there while sprinklers are running and because they over water it makes for a very muddy playground that gets torn up all the faster with dogs running through the soggy grass. Please water in middle of night for shorter periods of time so the grass will last longer and our dogs don't slip and slide and get filthy every time we take them to park."
"Everything is open now, there are 2 play areas, garden, 2 dog parks, and a baseball field. One play area for older kids and one for young toddlers. There's also a seesaw swing so parents can ride with the little ones."
