"1/27/2024 the parking lot is closed and you cannot park in it. A great easy flat hike. Perfect for mountain bikes, kids, dogs. Great views"
"Multiple trails in this area. Some are easy some are hard. It’s a great place to either run and workout or take a leisure walk and vibe with nature. Great place. Safe. Good neighborhood area."
"Amazing scenery. Perfect for mountain biking with the family. We went on a weekday so there were not very many hikers. Took my 9yo and they had a great time. Waterfall is nice. Very clean and well maintained. There’s several signs posted to guide you through the trail."
"Parking can be a bit tight, but the trails are great for walking or running (possibly bike riding, although I didn't see any cyclists when I was there). There is a Port-a-John on site that appears to be fairly well maintained. I came here with a group of runners, and it worked well for our needs For before, during, and after. There is a picnic table on site, although I don't know that this is the best place to just hang out."
"Beautiful and peaceful place. I started at the Sorrento Valley parking lot and started my trek from there. There are areas of shade, some with river rocks, some with soft sand but you can walk on the sand easily. There were some inclines that I would grade as a moderate climb but so doable. The big plus on this trail is the waterfall less than 3 miles in. I brought my small dog, he kept up. This may not be a surprise to anyone but I found 2 ticks on my dog which I removed immediately, so just a head's up, my dog does have a flea/ tick collar. Definitely bring water if hiking during warmer weather."
