"Wanted two sections of two drawers replaced on a mirror covered dresser. Called and spoke to the young lady there, told her I would send a picture via e-mail to see if they could repair. Five hours later no response. I drove the drawers over there. I asked the girl if she had received my e-mail. She said yes, but hadn't had time to look at it yet (no one in the showroom, she was not on the phone). She said she didn't know if she could match the antique mirror on the dresser, but would call around and see what she could do. Left the drawers there for ten days. Called again, she said no, she hadn't had any luck in finding saying "I warned you we probably couldn't get this". I found the correct mirror pieces online in five minutes. Called the manufacturer and explained that BGS can't seem to find the glass. They called BGS directly and told them they had it. Miraculously, BGS called back shortly thereafter - they found the mirror, should be $300-$600 to repair. For two 7" x 7" pieces of glass. I said never mind, I'll come get it. Ordered the pieces online directly and then took them to Bob's Glass, along with the drawers. They repaired in a week. Total cost, including the mirrors I purchased directly, was under $100. I'm sure BGS has more business than they know what to do with. There are lots of trucks on the lot and the young lady said she was extremely busy. But if you really don't want the job, why don't you just come out and say that in first place?"
