"I would recommend Courteous K9 for those looking for obedience classes! The Foundations 1 course was an excellent initial introduction to obedience for a young dog, which was well complimented by the online materials. I enjoyed the class size and the content. Foundations 1 was a six week course, with weekly one hour sessions which challenged my young dog’s attention span. One consideration might be to offer 45 minute sessions over 8 weeks instead. Still we enjoyed the instructor and the content! I look forward to future classes!"

Jess is very knowledgeable trainer with lots of patience when it comes to both the dogs and their handlers! She takes the time needed when introducing a new skill or reviewing skills. "Seriously cannot recommend this place enough! I researched and compared all of the puppy classes in the Rochester area and I am so happy I went here. The staff are amazing and so knowledgeable about dog training and behavior and are really great at explaining the “why” behind everything. They make the classes fun and informative and create an enjoyable environment where we can all learn from each other as well. I already signed our girl up for the next class and have plans on doing some of their other classes with our adult dog. Definitely try out Courteous K9, you wont be disappointed."

"We brought our five month old puppy in for the Foundation 1 classes after taking a similar course at another “K9” place in town. Both series of courses were beneficial for socialization but if you are serious about training your dog, there is no comparison. The staff at Courteous K9 is as professional and knowledgeable as I’ve ever experienced. With a previous dog, we’ve taken classes at two additional different training/boarding businesses in town and none compare the quality of training here. The staff at Courteous K9 stand head and shoulders above their competition. I was hesitant to pay nearly double for what seemed like a comparable course, but I assure you that the value is there. We didn’t hesitate to sign our puppy for the next series of Foundation classes and very much look forward to learning with the amazing trainers. I highly recommend you see for yourself."
