"Not quite sure what the deal is, but quite literally every single time my partner and I come here to cash a check, they always have a different excuse of why they can’t help him, need another form of id, he doesn’t have an account so he has to come in, but it’s funny because usually a $5.00 fee is just charged, it’s just a run around every single time. Consistent rules and communication of these would do everyone a lot of good, and save a lot of time."

"My husband and I decided to use Nicolet Bank for our home mortgage in 2015. I made it very clear that we only wanted a lender that did not sell their mortgages to companies such as Freddy Mac/Fanny May. Almost immediately they sold our mortgage to one of these companies. We were disappointed with the dishonesty by Brian in the Menasha office. We weren't informed that they required two months upfront escrow for taxes. We had no say with this mortgage. They made all the changes and were notified after the fact. When we sold & closed on our home 05/25/23, our mortgage was paid in full. Yet on 06/01 another mortgage payment was taken out of our account. I contacted Nicolet twice & literally had to fight to get my June payment refunded. The customer service representative stated it was MY RESPONSIBILITY TO STOP THE PAYMENT FROM BEING TAKEN OUT OF OUR CHECKING ACCOUNT. Upon checking with my bank I was told that it was Nicolet Banks responsibility to inform them. I will never use Nicolet Bank again. Unfriendly customer service"
