"Our sweet old Golden Retriever has never been professionally groomed, we've always enjoyed taking care of him ourselves. However, he has had some medical issues over the past couple of months that have required surgery. Because the procedures required shaving, his appearance has become rather disheveled. The hair on his belly and on his neck is growing back but the overall look is pretty scraggly. I made the mistake of trying to "groom" him myself, and made the poor guy look even worse. We needed some help to get our buddy looking as good as he's now feeling. He's had enough stress lately so we didn't want to add any more. Ranger has a touch of separation anxiety, so the thought of dropping him off at an unfamiliar place wasn't something we were excited about. Lucky for us, we found Cutting Edge Mobile Grooming. Cassie arrived in her self-contained pet salon on wheels and brought the grooming to us at home! She is very professional, genuinely nice, and she is passionate about her work. She was very kind and gentle with my dog which is more important to me than anything else. I couldn't help but watch what was going on out there from the house and could see Ranger through the window of the van. He could also see out so he knew where he was. He didn't look stressed, in fact he looked pretty relaxed. He was allowed to lie down for portions of his grooming which I'm sure he appreciated. 90 minutes later, he emerged, clean and shiny and silky soft. He also looked very handsome; Cassie blended his short patches in with the rest of his coat very naturally. He still has his feathering,it's just a little shorter. And his feet - they are so beautifully trimmed! I always thought I preferred the Dr Seuss shaggy toes, but I have changed my mind about that. In fact I think I've been converted on the whole grooming thing in general. Thanks Cassie. It was a great experience all around and we will be back for more."

"I had our dog groomed with Cutting Edge and I will definitely do it again! I have a dog who gets very anxious and sick when he goes to the "big" dog grooming places. I have a Wheaten and he really needs to be professionally groomed. I called Cutting Edge because I wanted him to have a better experience with a groomer. I figured since he would be with just one groomer, no other dogs, and we wouldn't have to travel anywhere it would be easier on him. I was right! Cassy came right at the time she said she would. She is extremely professional and really loves dogs. She was so gentle and sweet and I felt like my dog was in great hands from the start. I had tried to groom my dog myself, so he was looking a little rough. He came back from the van, just over two hours later, looking fantastic! His paws were trimmed, nails cut, ears sparkling and hair free, and his haircut was adorable! She blended all the awkward hair tufts back into place, managed his legs so they weren't covered in mats, and trimmed his ears. He looks great! The best part is though, is that he wasn't a complete wreck when he came back. He was happy and completely fine! That is a first for this dog! I would highly recommend Cutting Edge for your dog, especially if he is afraid or anxious about the groomers. It is a little pricier than taking him to the "standard" grooming salons, but for the one-on-one care my dog really needs it is WELL worth it."
