"Bobby is so rude, he calls himself a manager and he should not be. I asked him if they allowed service animals and he said yeah then he said no.... he needs to look up the updated laws and see that he is in the wrong. Then he tells me go search for some other hotel in a RUDE MANNER! Now I see why they have 2 stars. Very unprofessional ***DO NOT Recommend this hotel"
"The hotel itself was fine, but I had a poor experience due to noise and disruption from the front desk. I am in Stillwater for work this weekend and went to sleep early, I was woken up at about 9:30 pm and 10:30 pm by calls from the front desk. Apparently the people who stayed in my room the previous night lost their key fob for their vehicle and thought it might be in my room. I understand that this is important, but I was sleeping and hadn't seen it. I also woke up to someone knocking on my door in the middle of the night (I just went back to sleep) and woke up to loud banging coming from one of the neighboring rooms. All I needed from this hotel was for a quiet place to get some sleep and wasn't able to get that. I do not recommend."
"Booked a room here for 1 night. Came in about 5 pm to check in and nobody was at the front desk to check in. There was a phone on the counter that said push 0 for service. Did that and no answer. Called the hotel and no answer. Waited around for 10-15 min. And no one came around. Asked a couple guests leaving the hotel if they have seen anyone working here and the said no. I had to be at a grooms dinner and needed to shower and change so I ended up having to book a room down the road. I called again later to let them know what happened and to credit my card back. The person that I talked to admitted he was not available because he was the only one there and had to do everything so he couldn't be at the front desk. He said he couldnt credit my card only the manager could and they wouldn't be there until Monday. I got a email from the motel saying they will not credit my credit card because they say that someone was working, well not at the front desk at least. I will be have my credit card company cancel the payment."
"If you enjoy loud parties at picnic areas, hallways and in rooms adjoining your room, you’ll love Stillwater Inn. After four phone calls to front desk between 2 and 3 a.m. to complain about noise from all of the above areas, they finally called the police since staff could not get noise under control. Trash & cigarette butts piled high outside every entrance except the main one. Oh, and their pet policy that says no dogs over 30 lbs… don’t worry! I told them when making my reservation that I had two 60 lb. dogs because I would be in town for a dog show. No problem. When I arrived there were 200 lb. Mastiffs in the parking lot. I don’t have a problem with that, but a friend with a 90 lb Lab chose not to stay there due to the 30 lb. Stated limit. Lastly, when checking out I requested a discount due to trash and noise issues. Manager “Bobby” told me that I was rude for asking and he could care less about my lack of sleep. When I told him that I I would just write a review about my less than positive experience, he told me to quit “threatening” him. Really?"
