"Stadium is a great in town hiking park. It’s not a park in the sense of having a lawn and picnic tables or a playground, but more an open space close to downtown Atascadero that is threaded with trails. You hike among the oak woodland landscape. There are a few options to get to the top, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Atascadero and the surrounding countryside. It is an uphill climb, but easy to do in about 30-45 minutes. It makes a great place for a sunrise or sunset. If climbing uphill is not your fancy, there are other trails that have a more modest elevation change"
